Information Risk Management Intern

Corning, Inc

June 2012 - August 2012

Designed and implemented a desktop application in C# that allows a user to aggregate emails from their Outlook Inbox and RSS Feeds into a single document for easier reading. The returned HTML document could be emailed to other co-workers, and a history was maintained to allow reading of previous days reports. Artificial Intelligence was implemented through a Neural Network to allow the application to be scheduled and run automatically.

Graduate Assistant

Binghamton University, School of Management, MIS Department

January 2012 - May 2012

Worked with Professor Rui Huang to analyze the effectiveness of IT initiatives in organizations. We gathered information regarding the initiatives from the organization's annual reports and letters to shareholders and attempted to compare the signals against financial indicators to determine if these IT undertakings yielded a positive effect for the company.

Web Developer / Programmer Intern

Binghamton University Computer Center

September 2009 - May 2012

Aided the head Web Developer at Binghamton University by maintaining, updating and creating various websites for faculty through HTML/CSS/Javascript/PHP/MySQL implementations.

Team Leader

Binghamton University MDP18, Senior Capstone Project

August 2010 - May 2011

MDP18 worked with BAE Systems to design and implement a CMOS Wearout Assessment to test the reliability of CMOS integrated circuits (specifically Flash Memories) as the node geometry within the chips moves past 90 nanometers. The results of the accelerated life test were used to determine the reliability and life expectancy of future BAE products.

As a member of MDP18, I was primarily responsible for creation of the VHDL code necessary to program the test board.

As Team Leader, I was facilitated communications with BAE Systems and our Faculty Adviser. Additionally, I oversaw all aspects of the design and implementation, and ensured that the team was on target to meet the appropriate deadlines.

IT Intern

• Maintained and updated the company website through HTML/CSS/Javascript coding, and monitored server applications and usage to ensure proper operation.
• Developed and deployed a Content Management System in PHP for website updates and various databases in Microsoft Access for internal record keeping.
